Standard Medical Balloons Available from Teleflex Medical OEM

Wayne, PA Teleflex Medical OEM, a global leader in custom-engineered medical components, announced it has added an expansive range of standard medical balloons to its in-house capabilities. Non-compliant, semi-compliant, and compliant balloons in an assortment of diameters and lengths are available for research and development or quick delivery.

“Minimally invasive surgeries (MIS) are one of the biggest trends in medicine,” said Ray Ledinsky, Global Market Manager for Teleflex Medical OEM. “With many of these procedures, medical balloons are often a key component. Due to the increased demand for MIS, we are seeing a growing need for more standard medical balloons. So, in addition to our custom-engineered medical balloons, we are pleased to be able to provide a collection of standard balloons for quick turnaround.”

Included in the standard selection are balloons for PTCA (percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty) and PTA (percutaneous transluminal angioplasty) — a specialty for Teleflex Medical OEM. Additional standard offerings include endoscopy multi-pressure balloons and TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) balloons.

Teleflex Medical OEM’s medical balloon team has more than 25 years of experience in balloon development and manufacturing for a variety of minimally invasive procedures which include cardiovascular, structural heart, peripheral vascular, neurovascular, orthopedic, pulmonary, general surgery, gynecological, and urological. Teleflex Medical OEM also has in place the ability to manufacture finished balloon catheters.
